At Sphynx Galore, we are dedicated to breeding and raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized sphynx kittens. Every kitten in our care is treated like family, and we go above and beyond to ensure they are in excellent health before joining your home.

This Health Guarantee outlines what you can expect from us and what we ask of you to maintain your kitten’s long-term wellness.

✅ What We Guarantee

We guarantee that every sphynx cat for sale from Sphynx Galore:

  • Is free from genetic life-threatening illnesses at the time of sale
  • Has been examined by a licensed veterinarian
  • Comes with up-to-date vaccinations and deworming
  • Is in excellent physical health, showing no signs of infection or disease at the time of adoption

🧬 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We proudly offer a one (1) year guarantee against life-threatening genetic or congenital conditions, including:

  • Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • Congenital organ failure (liver, kidney, etc.)
  • Neurological or muscular disorders of genetic origin

If your kitten is diagnosed with a qualifying condition by a licensed veterinarian within one year of purchase, we will:

  • Offer a replacement kitten of equal value (subject to availability), OR
  • Provide a partial refund, depending on the diagnosis and situation

🧪 Veterinary documentation and diagnosis are required, including lab work and imaging.

⏱️ 72-Hour Initial Health Check Requirement

To activate your health guarantee, the buyer must:

  • Take the kitten to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery
  • Submit a signed veterinary report confirming the kitten’s health status

Failure to complete this step will void the health guarantee.

🔁 Replacement Terms

If a replacement is required:

  • We do not cover vet expenses, shipping, or travel for returned or replacement kittens
  • The original kitten must be returned unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • All decisions are made with the kitten’s best interest in mind

❗ Conditions Not Covered

Our health guarantee does not cover the following:

  • Minor, treatable issues such as worms, coccidia, ear mites, or upper respiratory infections (common in kittens)
  • Any condition caused by neglect, injury, improper diet, or poor living environment
  • Allergic reactions, including to food or environment
  • Reproductive health (if buyer requests breeding rights)
  • Declawing-related complications

We strongly advise against declawing your sphynx kitten.

📋 Spay/Neuter Agreement

All kittens sold as pets must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age unless already altered before adoption.

Failure to comply with this agreement voids the health guarantee.
